Hi there! I'm Uline Steyn, the heart and brains behind our cozy corner of creativity. Italy holds a special place in my heart because of its endless charm. When I'm not working you'll find me unleashing my inner artist doing oil paintings of peonies. My mom has always been my inspiration for my career. My favourite drink is black coffee with a hint of caramel. Believe it or not I am a bohemian at heart, and my favourite activity is going to silent discos. I love to dance and feel free. My favourite colour is black and I love antiques. I love a jazz song that lets you feel like you're roaming the streets of Europe, but I'm also a huge rock fan! Especially Evanescence. I've had my business for 10 years and I love my job more and more everyday.

Hi, I am in charge of social media and marketing, which are both my passions, but I'm also here to try and make Uline's life a little easier. I am a Digital Marketing Student and I'm loving interior design more and more by the day. One of my biggest dreams is to live in England and I love the cold and rainy weather. One of my favourite weekend activities is to read, attempt at playing the piano, and spend time with my friends and family, and of course my 2 frenchies. I am the baby in the office, but everyone tells me I'm a breath of fresh air. Something not many people know about me is I actually know how to ski and I am learning to speak French, hoping that one day I'll be fluent. I also grew up in Zimbabwe, and I loved it there!

I am the administrative magician at your service! You will me at the reception desk, where I weave my charm into every interaction. I am responsible for the upholstery, orders, and communication, I'm the ultimate middle(wo)man.
I'm not just the life of the party; I like to think I'm the CEO around here. When I'm not in the office, you'll find me lost in the world of sewing, one of my long time skills. If it were a dream I'd be surrounded by roses and pearls, my true loves.
Luna & Zailey
Cheerleader & Security Guard
We are Luna and Zailey, the cheerleader and security guard for Velvet, believe it or not. We are the perfect distraction for everyone who visits the Velvet Showroom, and we love all the attention. Whenever packages arrive, we are the ones to rip off all the papers. We like to cuddle and lay in the sun all day to keep warm. Please be careful when you sit on any chairs, we sleep under blankets and we don't want to get squeezed.
Luna, "If you ever see me staring at a cupboard you have to give me the treats that are inside." Zailey has the biggest attitude for such a small baby but you'll love her.
